Parts Work is based on the idea that our subconscious mind finds it efficient to compartmentalize as you navigate different contexts of your life. And just like you may have a parent part, or a son or daughter part, friend or employee part, depending on the context you find yourself in, the relevant “part” that can best handle that context will come forward and perform behaviors designed to keep you safe and comfortable. For example . . .a part that handles stress with a cigarette and another part that that knows it can choose a break and some deep breathing. All parts are valid and performing important functions. More important, they are performing their jobs expertly and with life or death intentions. And that can sometimes create internal conflict. In the hypnotic state, we dialog with the conflicting parts, validate them, transform their behavior and ultimately get all parts on board with your highest goal. The process feels more like facilitated negotiation and
All parts are valid and performing important functions. More important, they are performing their jobs expertly and with life or death intentions. And that can sometimes create internal conflict. In the hypnotic state, we dialog with the conflicting parts, validate them, transform their behavior and ultimately get all parts on board with your highest goal. The process feels more like facilitated negotiation and clients walk away with an incredible feeling of empowerment.
Dani’s Parts Work training, in the tradition of Charles Tebbits and Roy Hunter, was an extensive component of her comprehensive education at The Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy (Formerly The Florida Institute of Hypnotherapy). Regression is like exploring the directories to isolate the initial sensitizing events or relationships and dissolve the negative emotions and limiting beliefs connected to them. Most of the time, this exploration takes us back to childhood events. Sometimes it takes us back to birth, and even (if you are open to the idea) back to a previous life. Whether real or metaphor, this exploration during hypnosis allows a client the freedom to see events again, reframe the beliefs and negative emotions associated with it and associate more positive and empowering emotions moving forward. The happy result is a transformed physical and emotional sensation associated with “yesterday” and transformed behavior “today.”
Dani’s Regression expertise follows in the tradition and techniques of Gil Boyne, Matthew Brownstein, Dr. Brian Weiss, and Dr. Michael Newton. Specific extensive training in childhood, natal and past life regression was received at The Florida Institute of Hypnotherapy with advanced training under the guidance of Don Motin, VP of the National Guild of Hypnotists.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is also commonly known as Tapping or Meridian Tapping Technique (MTT). Tapping is a basic form of acupressure that literally taps into specific meridians on the head and chest, stimulating the flow of energy along body’s neural-network while you think about your specific problem and express positive reframes. The combination of tapping while expressing the negative emotions followed by the positive affirmations works to clear the emotional blocks that the issue has stored in your body.
Essentially, the technique communicates to your body that the situation you are dealing with right now, is not an emergency. Then it instructs your body to turn off the alarm sensors and calm down. When you are calm, you have perspective. When you have perspective, you have insight and you can tap into your deep inner resources to handle any situation.
These hypnosis tools are used for everything from overwhelm to sports performance, fear of flying to impulse control, removing blocks to financial success and help with cravings. Tapping allows us to peel away the multiple layers of an issue and clear them one at time. Also, when used in the hypnotic state during regression, we can clear the negative associations formed by the younger or past life self, change the foundations of the reactions at the source. You will pick up Tapping quickly and apply it to many feelings and beliefs with success and ease.

Mindfulness is paying attention on purpose in the present moment, without judgment. It’s about using your breath to return to the present moment; to breathe and all your body to relax and your mind to take the position of an objective observer; to create a space where insight and higher awareness enable choice and control in all circumstances. Research confirms that the simple practice of mindfulness is successful in resolving illness, chronic pain, and anxiety, not to mention the management of every-day stressors. healthcare, education, business, and community settings to create positive outcomes.
This Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) method, developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center teaches individuals to how to cultivate mental clarity, well-being, and insight through practical mind-body hypnosis tools, including:

From conception, we have been in a perpetual state of making sense of our world. Bucketing information for protection, for pleasure, for easy access and quick response, for life or death. We have been creating patterns for EVERYTHING from eating, sleeping, learning and loving, to working, playing and exercising. Some of the patterns we have created are more complex than others but they all have one thing in common – they start with a thought that triggers some kind of physiological response in our bodies. Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) comprises a set of hypnosis tools that allows us to observe how we take information in, process it for meaning and execute a pattern related to it. NLP allows us to be observers of these patterns. Being an observer is the first step in being able to break free from the disruptive, maladaptive patterns.
NLP is not a single tool and it does not require being in the hypnotic state. In fact, NLP can be successfully employed during regular discussion and multiple strategies may be used concurrently to evoke positive changes in a client’s thoughts, behaviors and associations. NLP targets changes in thinking, behavior and perspective of past memories and how the patterns from those past events are playing out in the current issue. The goal is to change how the brain views the situation, so the client can experience different and improved physiological and psychological associations and achieve the desired outcome.
Dani is a Licensed Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming having received her training directly from the co-creator, Richard Bandler and Master Trainers John and Kathleen Lavalle with the Society of NLP – NLP Seminars Group International.
